Meet The Founder: Brian Liu

Brian Liu is a civil engineer and the founder of Archipelago. His career began in Toronto in 2008, where he developed a passion for using digital tools to improve team collaboration during a development boom in Squamish, British Columbia.

Brian’s work experiences and hobbies (rockclimbing, skiing) have shaped his perspective on the power of community. Motivated by a desire to address inefficiencies and underutilized potential in the AEC industry, he founded Archipelago to push boundaries, rethink traditional practices, and unlock the full potential of collaboration and technology.
